Advent Group Ministries- 2025 Year In Review

Updated: Dec 11, 2025

Celebrating 40 Years of Healing, Hope, and Community

As we close out 2025, Advent Group Ministries reflects with gratitude on a year filled with milestones, partnerships, and moments of meaningful connection. This year reminded us of the power of community, how healing grows when people come together with purpose, compassion, and hope.

From celebrating our 40th anniversary to expanding our presence in the community, 2025 was a year defined by growth, collaboration, and service.

Honoring 40 Years of Impact- February Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

In February, we marked a historic moment, Advent Group Ministries’ 40-year anniversary. Our ribbon-cutting ceremony was not only a celebration of our legacy but a recommitment to the thousands of youth, adults, and families we have served since 1985.

Staff, supporters, alumni, and community partners gathered to reflect on four decades of counseling, support, and healing. It was a reminder that our mission is rooted in deep faith, steady perseverance, and the belief that every person deserves hope and restoration.

Empowering Young Adults- April Workshop with Cathedral of Faith

In April, we partnered with our friends at Cathedral of Faith to host a workshop for their Young Adults group. The gathering created space for meaningful conversations around mental health, resilience, identity, and faith. Our team was honored to connect with young adults navigating life transitions and challenges, offering tools, encouragement, and compassionate support.

This workshop strengthened an already growing relationship with Cathedral of Faith, one that continues to open new doors for outreach, counseling, and community impact.

A Moving Experience- Attending “1 Degree of Separation” at Travis Air Force Base

In September, our team traveled to Travis Air Force Base to attend the powerful and emotional performance of 1 Degree of Separation, a show addressing mental health and suicide prevention.

The experience deepened our commitment to advocacy, awareness, and healing-centered conversations. We were honored to witness the work of others who share our mission of restoring hope and supporting those who feel unseen or unheard.

Expanding Our Reach- Official Opening of Our Cathedral of Faith Office

Also in September, we celebrated another major milestone. The official opening of our Advent Group Ministries office at Cathedral of Faith.

This new location allows us to offer more accessible counseling and support services directly within the church community. We are grateful for Cathedral of Faith’s continued partnership and their heart for serving individuals and families in need of care.

This space has already become a warm, welcoming environment for healing and conversation, and we look forward to the many lives that will be strengthened through it.

Investing in Healthy Relationships- October Ignite Marriage Conference

In October, our team joined the Ignite Marriage Conference at Cathedral of Faith. This event inspired deep reflection and provided renewed insight into strengthening relationships, communication, and emotional connection, core themes that intersect with much of our counseling work.

Participating allowed us not just to learn, but to support couples who are working to build resilient, faith-centered marriages. It was a powerful reminder that healing happens not only individually but within families and relationships.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we wrap up 2025, we do so with gratitude for every client who trusted us, for every partner who collaborated with us, and for every moment where compassion led to transformation.

This year reaffirmed our mission to provide counseling, community support, and hope that restores lives.

Thank you for being part of the Advent Group Ministries family. We look forward to serving, growing, and making an even greater impact in 2026.
