Body, Mind, Spirit Workshop Sold Out, Highlighting Growing Demand for Faith-Integrated Mental Health Leadership
San Jose, CA — February 7, 2026

The Body, Mind, Spirit Workshop, hosted at Cathedral of Faith, officially reached full capacity, signaling strong community interest in integrated approaches to physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
The sold-out event featured Meghan Fouad, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, who presented best practices for strengthening mental health within faith communities, specifically among women.
Advent Group Ministries operates at the intersection of clinical behavioral health and spiritual care, equipping individuals and communities with tools to navigate anxiety, stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm without sacrificing their faith identity.
“Many individuals feel they must choose between spiritual support and professional mental health care,” said Meghan Fouad. “Our mission at Advent is to bridge that gap and provide evidence-informed care that honors both.”
The workshop also featured:
Dr. Angela Bymaster, physician at The Healing Grove, speaking on women’s whole-body health
Kathy B. (KB), fitness professional and event emcee, guiding participants through movement and wellness practices
Pastor Ann Scherer, sharing strategies for maintaining and growing a healthy spirit
The morning program included educational sessions, movement integration, a live Q&A, and community engagement activities.
The overwhelming response reflected a broader national shift: faith communities, employers, and organizations increasingly sought thoughtful, data-informed leadership around behavioral and mental health.
Advent Group Ministries continued to expand its community partnerships through workshops, conversations, and thought leadership initiatives designed to normalize and strengthen mental wellness within spiritual contexts.
