Gaosong is an empathetic, culturally responsive counselor-in-training dedicated to creating a grounded, non-judgmental space where individuals, couples, and families feel truly heard, valued, and empowered. With a rich multicultural perspective, he believes that genuine healing begins with unconditional positive regard, authentic presence, and deep emotional safety.
Gaosong approaches therapy as a collaborative journey of discovery and growth. He integrates evidence-based modalities—primarily Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy—with a strengths-based, culturally humble lens. Drawing inspiration from Eastern philosophies on mindfulness, emotional flexibility, and organic balance, he supports clients in finding inner harmony, making sense of their lived stories, and developing self-compassion amidst life's complexities. His areas of focus include life and cultural transitions, anxiety, identity exploration, and interpersonal relationship dynamics.
Currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Counseling (Marriage and Family Therapy / Professional Clinical Counseling) at Saint Mary's College of California, Gaosong is committed to walking alongside clients from all walks of life as they navigate vulnerabilities and build meaningful, values-driven lives.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” — Carl Rogers
Outside of counseling, Gaosong finds grounding in the culinary arts, cooking meals for family and friends. He also enjoys playing video games, staying physically active, and spending quality time with his loved ones and pets. He brings that same patience, warmth, and genuine care to every client relationship.
