Elizabeth is a licensed therapist and community leader with more than three decades of experience serving youth, families, and individuals across Santa Clara County. She began her career in 1990 working with youth on Probation, later expanding her work into residential treatment programs and the Santa Clara County Wraparound program at EMQ.

After 15 years at EMQ, Elizabeth founded Kingdom Family Resources in 2012, a community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing mental health with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care. One of the organization’s signature offerings is its Therapeutic Family Camps, held annually for seven years in the Santa Cruz Mountains, creating spaces for healing, connection, and restoration for families.

Elizabeth’s professional journey also includes providing mental health support within Special Education classrooms from 2014 to 2018, as well as delivering therapy to individuals with severe mental health needs at Momentum for Mental Health from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2026, she partnered with the Department of Family and Children Services Prevention Bureau, focusing on restoring trust and healing relationships between Child Protective Services and community members impacted by trauma within the child welfare system.

Elizabeth earned her Associate of Arts degree from San Jose City College, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bethany Bible College, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Oral Roberts University. She completed her licensure coursework through John F. Kennedy University and has been a licensed clinician since 2016.

Her clinical expertise includes trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, thought disorders, attachment, grief, and the complexities of foster care and adoption.

In addition to her clinical and nonprofit leadership, Elizabeth serves as Chair of the Santa Clara County Child Abuse Prevention Council for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. She is also an Associate Pastor at Kingdom Worship Center International Church of San Jose, serving under the leadership of Senior Pastor Apostle Dr. Teresa A. Tate.

Outside of her professional work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, watching movies, and being outdoors.

At the heart of everything she does is her guiding principle: Loving God and Loving People.
