What We Do

Step Up! Outpatient Program

Advent Group Ministries offers a full range of outpatient drug and alcohol treatment and prevention services to adolescent.

STEP UP! CONTINUUM CARE SERVICES

Advent’s STEP UP! Outpatient Program offers a variety of intensities (Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and Post-Treatment Recovery Services) to meet a broad spectrum of needs in an after-school setting.

We provide group therapy, recovery education, pro-social activities, individual counseling and family collateral sessions to teens struggling with substance abuse and dependence. This program has been successful in providing teens with in-depth treatment while they continue to live in their own home.

STEP UP! also provides aftercare services for youth emerging from our short-term residential treatment program.

The STEP UP! program is offered at no cost to adolescents with Medi-Cal benefits and those who are uninsured. Eligibility is determined by the teen’s age and their need for substance abuse services.
