Residential Recovery Program:
A Note to Parents

Since 1985, Advent Group Ministries has helped thousands of teens to break free from alcohol and drug addiction. We operate the only licensed residential recovery program for teens ages 13-18 in Santa Clara County. Advent's staff of caring, committed professionals live with the kids 24-hours a day, striving to develop in our clients a commitment to lasting recovery.

Your child may be placed in Advent's residential program in one of two ways:

The first way is to be appointed through the court system.

If your child has committed a crime and is currently involved with the county or state court system(s), you may have some influence where your child will ultimately be placed. Make a request to the social worker or public defender assigned to your child's case. If given the opportunity you may be able to speak directly to the judge and request that he be placed at Advent Group Ministries.

The second way is through voluntary enrollment.

If your teen is not yet involved in the court system but you are concerned that he or she is on the wrong path and in need of direction you may choose to place him or her at Advent voluntarily.
