Nora Khajerian

Nora Khajerian is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a M.S. in Psychology in 1994. Shortly thereafter she moved to the Bay Area and has been working at Advent Group Ministries since 1995. She has been licensed since 2002. She has experience working with clients from age 4 to 80 dealing with a wide variety of issues including marital problems, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addiction, trauma and family conflict. In working with her clients, her desire is to help them achieve their goals for emotional, spiritual and relational health through communicating God’s love, grace and truth in a safe therapeutic environment. Nora is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).


Bruce Pickett

Bruce Pickett, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has been married since 1986 and is the father of energetic twins born in 2000.  Born and raised in Santa Clara County, he knows the area and the resources available.  He has been working with children, teens, men, women, couples and families in a variety of settings since 1979. His particular areas of experience are working with couples, men’s issues and adolescent substance abuse. He enjoys training new therapists by providing clinical supervision in the Oak Grove school district, and is Clinical Supervisor of New Life Community Services in Santa Cruz. 

As a Believer, his joy is sharing the hope of Christ and being an instrument of healing for people wanting to experience fullness of life.


Rebekah Laffoon, M.A. 李百佳  

Rebekah is a registered Marriage and Family Therapy intern whose passion is to help individuals, couples and families through skillful guidance and compassionate care. She received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Seminary and Bachelors degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley. Her desire is to help clients find hope and healing by addressing     emotional, relational, psychological and spiritual issues using a holistic approach.

Rebekah has helped clients work through depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, and relational issues, and has a special interest in working with young adults. Rebekah understands Taiwanese and Mandarin, and enjoys cooking, photography and playing classical piano and violin in her leisure time. She and her husband have been married since 2005.


Nancy Lee, M.A.  Nancy Lee, M.A.  (IMF 58026)

Nancy is a registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who completed her Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy at Western Seminary. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, double-majoring in Economics and Chinese. She loves working with people of all backgrounds and has had the opportunity to spend several summers teaching English to teens in various parts of Asia.

As a MFT Intern, Nancy has had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients and a variety of clinical issues including: anger management, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, behavior modification, couples therapy, and family therapy. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and playing the piano. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).


 Daisy Lee, R.N., M.A.  熭聪

Daisy was raised in Hong Kong, attended college in the United States and graduated from the University of California at San Francisco in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN).  After 15 years of clinical nursing, she felt a calling to provide counseling services to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of her patients.  Daisy subsequently enrolled in Western Seminary and received a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2003.

Daisy works with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar, addiction, co-dependency, marital and relational issues, grief, bereavement, anger management, parent/teen problems and chronic illness. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English
