Our Program Directors
 Ann
MacLaren
Director of Quality Improvement
Ann
has been with Advent Group Ministries for over
30 years. Ann earned her BA in Psychology and
Biblical Studies from Azusa Pacific College and
her Masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling
at Santa Clara University with an emphasis on
the alcoholic family. Ann gained experience as
a Crisis Intervention Volunteer before joining
the Advent team.
Since joining Advent,
Ann has worked her way from Resident Counselor all the way to Residential Recovery Program Director, and is now serving as our Director of Quality Improvement. Before becoming a program director, Ann was used by God to create Advent's Recovery Program.
Ann is single and has her dogs
to keep her busy at home. She enjoys camping,
in-line skating, and "surfing the net"
in her free time.
She says she was "called
by God to serve these kids" when asked the reason
she joined Advent Group Ministries.
